Hello Minors Baseball parents. For this years All Star game we are going to try and add a little something extra to the game this year and hopefully have some fun at the same time. We have moved the game to Trinity Church this year so we have access to their PA system for the game. What I'd like to do this year is have each family submit (3) funny facts about their All Star player that the PA announcer can read as they come up to the plate. I have seen many videos of this type of thing online and it could be pretty entertaining.
That being said, this is only OPTIONAL, but I would encourage as much participation as possible. The goal here, as always with any event we put together, is to try and give the kiddos a couple memories to look back on that makes them smile. I dont want ANYTHING negative, but something funny about the player than maybe no one knows or some funny moment that could be an inside joke within the family. Something along the lines of this, "Next up is Little Johnny.....who to this day still sleeps with a Teddy Bear."
